The Cottage
The Cottage is the home of Gary & Deb Hvass and is located at 407 2nd St. E. Directions: From the college’s main entrance, walk one block down College St. (south or away from campus) and turn left on 2nd St. E. The Cottage is the first house on your left, a white house with dark green trim.
FISH
Douglas House is the Christian special-interest house, usually called “FISH House.” (FISH stands for Fellowship in the Son’s Hope.) Directions: From the college’s main entrance, walk two blocks down College St. (south or away from campus) and FISH is an all-white house on the northeast (near left) corner of College and 2nd Streets.
Craigs’ home
Will & Cully Craig live at 119 Marvin Lane, about a mile from campus. Directions: From the southwest corner of the campus (at the bottom of the hill on 2nd St. where the townhouses start), go south (away from campus) on Washington St. eleven blocks (you will cross Woodley, a major intersection) until you come to Marvin Lane. Turn right. The Craigs’ home is the first house on the right.
Northfield Prayer Room
In a furnished apartment above REMAX Realtors on Division St. is the Northfield Prayer Room. This room is overseen by Transformation Northfield, a group of like-minded churches and ministries that desire to see God’s blessing come to the city. This room is open for students to pray daily during selected hours. Directions: Walk down Division St. toward Goodbye Blue Monday Coffeehouse. A few doors before you get there is 315 Division St. Walk up the stairs to enter the prayer room. Before you go, you will need to schedule a time with Helen Medin.
